first class is free!
Another open competition has been provisionally arranged by Silver
Dragons Martial Arts for Sunday 4 July 2004. This will be there
fifth open competition, of which we have taken part in three. Harvey
was a main Judge for the last competition with Jon and Andy as line
Judges More details coming soon.
Jon Fortis – Jon should be back teaching this month!
From time to time we will have other instructors teaching at the
club, either in the same style or a different Martial Art. These
instructors will be known to MEDI-MAR and will be fully qualified.
Please check out the web site it has been updated to include the
competition history and most recent grading results.
Please would everyone make sure that they wear there full Gi on
21st April 2004, also anyone that entered the past competitions
please bring along your trophy as we would like to take a few photo’s
to add to the web site.
Note: We will be putting on names and photos of students on the
website unless stated by either yourself, or a parent, that you
do want your photo placed on the site. These pictures will be solely
for the use of promoting the club on our web site www.medimar.co.uk
or news letter and will not be available for any other use or made
available to anyone else except for Harvey Gibson and Jon Fortis.
This site has been deigned and built by Jon. Jon is a Web Site
Designer if you require any information about our site or having
a web site – personal or professional – then speak to
Jon or visit

The next grading will take place 16th June 2004. Syllabus are now
available so please ask for one although once you have been given
one please keep hold of it as we do not have that many to give out
or give the same syllabus to the same students every week!. If you
are not sure of a move please ask us and we will be glad to run
through it with you. All students must wear their full white karate
uniform (NO T-Shirt) as well as all instructors awards. If you are
not ready or do not wish to take your grading this time don’t
worry that’s perfectly fine. It will only be grading on 16
June 2004 no classes will take place.
Grading will be £15.00 (as always!) this covers the lesson,
belt and certificate. We have had a number of students take the
grading and not pay for it, miss a few weeks then hope to get the
belt. If you do not pay for your grading then you will not receive
your belt or will not be allowed to grade until this amount has
been paid. This club is not run for profit and in fact costs the
main instructors to keep going!
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK
Harvey Jon Andy Dean
