Dear Students / Parents,
Welcome to the ninth newsletter for MEDI-MAR:
For your information the first class (6 pm – 7 pm) is now
full, and we also have a waiting list for this class.
7 pm – 8 pm Junior and the 8 pm – 9.30 pm Senior classes
still have plenty of places available.
We would like to arrange a whole club photo for the web site, but
as you can imagine arranging three classes to be together at one
time is going to be hard. The date that we would like to aim for
is 10th November 2004 at 7 pm. This is at the end of the first class
and the start of the second class. We will have a double class from
7.30 – 9.30 for both the second and third class. We have over
50 students to organise for this photo!
Full Gi’s must be worn with all additional awards.
New T-Shirt are now available please see Harvey if you require
one, all size £15.00 each.
We have also had a number of Gi’s printed with the club logo
on the front and back. At present we only have a limited supply
of 15 in various sizes. These Gi’s cost £20.00 for all
sizes. Please see Harvey is you require one.
We have a number of new students that will be ready to take there
first belt. We have decided to have a special grading especially
for those students which will be on 27th October 2004. The next
official grading date will be during January 2005 for all other
graded students.
All classes up to that date will be concentrating on the grading
syllabus for Red / White Belt. Syllabuses are available so please
ask for one.
Extra tuition can be given at the weekend but this must be pre-arranged
with an instructor. The weekends are getting booked up with extra
lessons so please book now. See Harvey for details.
Extra tuition timetable;
September
Saturday 25th – All day available
Sunday 26th – All day available
October
Saturday 2nd – All day available
Sunday 3rd – All day available
Saturday 16th – All day available
Sunday 17th – All day available
Saturday 23rd – All day available
Sunday 24th – All day available
Grading will be £15.00 (as always!)
This covers the lesson, belt and certificate. We have had a number
of students take the grading and not pay for it, miss a few weeks
then hope to get the belt. If you do not pay for your grading then
you will not receive your belt or will not be allowed to grade until
this amount has been paid. This club is not run for profit and in
fact costs the main instructors to keep going!
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK
Harvey Jon Andy Dean
